Dr. Sean Mojaver is a board-trained periodontist and the founder of PerioLuxe, a modern mobile specialty practice based in San Diego. With advanced training from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident and earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology, Dr. Mojaver is known for delivering high-level periodontal and implant care with precision, innovation, and esthetic focus.
He specializes in dental implants, soft tissue and bone regeneration, periodontal plastic surgery, and laser-assisted therapies, integrating cutting-edge technologies like photobiomodulation, PRF, IV sedation, and digital workflows into everyday practice. His expertise is backed by certifications in laser therapy, Botox, the Pinhole Surgical Technique, and advanced sedation.
Dr. Mojaver has been recognized as a Straumann and Nobel Scholar, and is one of the few periodontists invited to contribute to the AO/AAP Global Consensus Conference on peri-implant diseases. He currently serves as Executive Secretary on the Board of the Academy of Osseointegration, and presents regularly at national conferences such as AAP and AO.
His clinical philosophy bridges science and esthetics, with a patient-centered, digitally driven approach to specialty care. Through PerioLuxe, he partners with top general dentists and prosthodontists across Southern California—bringing elite periodontal expertise directly into their practices.
